ABOUT ME

I fell in love with hiphop as a teenager, something unique about rap is the self confidence rappers have, and as a teen seeing this helped me to gain confidence in myself. Over time however, I fell out of love with certain themes that are still prevelent within hiphop and rap, and I have always strived to promote hiphop music that has depth than that and to use my own music to say something that means something to me, rather than say something that "fits" in to what people expect from a rapper.

DJ

I have provided music for bars, cafes and parties across the South of the UK as well as DJ'd for hiphop gigs across the whole of the UK for artists including Felman (AKA Mos Prob), Solo Cypher, and Kalestix. In 2011 I was resident DJ at the De La Warr Pavilion as part of the "Dune" interactive art installation. I have a very open musical pallette typically playing hiphop, lo-fi beats, triphop, ambient electronica, uplifting pop, funk, soul, disco and synthwave. I can also curate sets according to specific genres for your events (Previous examples being 1950's rock 'n roll, UK Garage and Punk).

HOST

I currently livestream regularly throughout the week on Twitch, and co-host the Preciptoman Podcast. For three years I co-hosted Paper Cuts on KtoK radio in Kilburn, North London.

MUSIC & WRITING

I've been writing lyrics, making and performing music since 2008 when I started the band Adventures Of... with Bernard James, and consequently we developed Preciptoman together.

Preciptoman acts as a brand, a record label, a music/art/poetry collective, events organisation, workshop provider and production company. As part of Preciptoman I have developed and curated numerous creative writing workshops and programmes and provided ghostwriting and one-on-one lyric coaching and performed as a rapper, poet, freestyle artist and DJ on stages and venues accross the country including major cities like London, Bristol, Brighton and Manchester.
